Cable compiled a record of 11-35 (.239) in four straight losing seasons. Idaho did not renew Cable's contract at the conclusion of the 2003 season.

Awesome! Fire Bohn and take Hawkins with him.

Bohn's hires keep losing, and CU fans keep scrambling for justifications...

Bohn's CU hires (football, men's and women's basketball, and volleyball, but not golf which doesn't have won-loss records) have won 23% of conference games and 37% of all games. I calculated those percentages before the volleyball loss last night. So they're fractionally worse today.

We must keep the pressure on and clean house. I've always thought some of the stunts some college fans have pulled (snakes in mailboxes, threatening letters and phone calls, etc. at Alabama during the Bill Curry era - who is twice the man Bohn or Hawkins ever will be and they ran off when he was 9-2) were stupid, and I still do - but we need to otherwise keep the pressure on and get these guys out.

Here is an email I got back from Mike Bohn back in Sept. He is a bonehead.

Thank you for the note and candor, I understand and share your frustration. We will keep working hard to build a program we can all be proud of. I am most appreciative of our fan base to include people like you and our supporters who have done so much to contribute to the enterprise. This season will test our collective metal to an enduring cause of pride and respect for the University of Colorado. We will miss you in the stands, a lack of support from you and your family will not help recruiting, the game day environment or the results. Simply put, we need you and our loyal Buffs to persevere just like you did in Coach Mac’s fourth year when we lost the first 4 games. Please let me know if I can help you and the boys get to some games. MB

Mr. Bohn,

Being a CU Alum and attending most if not all the CU Buffs football games when we had a good coach (Mr. Barnett), I am emailing to inform you that this year I will not be purchasing season tickets for myself and my young 7 yr old son as I normally do each year. My brother, also an Alumni, will not be purchasing season tickets until Coach Hawkins is no longer the coach. We both were contemplating the purchase of tickets based on the current economic issues and wanting to save money.

Since we had a wedding to attend to this weekend, we were not able to make the CSU game. However we did plan on purchasing the tickets after this game to attend the rest of the CU Buffs games at Folsom. However, we have seen Coach Hawkins fail miserably and lose to a team that is supposed to finish the season 4-8 and ranked 7th in the Tier 2 Mountain West Conference. Once either yourself and/or Coach Hawkins is removed from our beloved Football Team, we will be buying season tickets again. As for now, I must fill my Buff Football fix some other way since the current (including the past 3 seasons) have been a complete waste of time.

Thank you,

Michael

Good riddance to all you. CU doesn't need anonymous internet worms such as yourself. No one of any importance to the program would post here. Let me know when one of the key donors does, in the meantime, I'd rather know quality people like Bohn and Hawkins than dipshits like you all.

For me, the jury's still out on Bohn. But this site would offer more if it had:

-The salary he receives
-When his contract is up
-His record with coaches of secondary sports
-His fund-raising record
-What you suggest fans do if they'd like to see him gone

New Practice Facility.....unreal move for the future of basketball at Colorado...Thank you Mike Bohn!

OUCH.

Mike Bohn is the reason CU is facing the prospect of losing for three to four more years...who gives a bum like Hawkins an extension? Why would you reward failure like that? He pissed me off dropping the tennis team, but destroying the football team is too much...Bohn is an idiot and an egotist....fire him NOW!!!!

Time to fire this beast up again.
